Set in seven acres of picturesque English woodland near Tamworth in Stafffordshire, it features an English Sporting layout and a Skeet range.
We shoot every other week throughout the year operating it in accordance with the guidelines of the National Governing Body of the Sport, the CPSA and expect nothing but the highest standards of safety from all who attend. To ensure this on their first visit, everyone who attends will be given a free Safety brief from one of our five Safety Officers outlining the geographical layout and the rules of the club. It also gives them chance to ask any questions they may have.
There is a membership scheme in operation which entitles card holders to discounts on clays.
The Skeet range has been built the standards laid down by the CPSA and the target flight paths are checked regularly with the hoop to ensure they are where they should be.
The English sporting course is set over 11 stands with the option to shoot either 70 or 100 targets and is a mixture of Standards (110mm) Midis (90mm) Minis (60mm) Battues and Rabbits. All the layouts are designed in advance to ensure that the right balanced is achieved as the targets are changed every week.
Fibre wadded cartridges must be used on both Skeet and Sporting and are on sale at the club.
Hot drinks are on sale and complementary biscuits are available (once they’re gone they’re gone so be quick!)
All this has gained the reputation of being one of the safest and friendliest shooting experiences you could ever imagine.
