It was one of those days, with the wind it took us forever to try and get targets to fly in a presentable and safe manner on the back side of the wood and we still had to go back and adjust the incomer on 7 partway through the shoot for safety reasons.

As the day progressed the wind steadied and became more constant, which made some targets easier and others more difficult, but overall an achievable layout as Paul Watson proved by shooting a very credible 93.

I was unable to shoot properly due to a shoulder injury, but still went round with Mark, whom only shot a couple of pairs on each stand just to see if the presentations worked as we intented.

Stand 6 I thought was the most tricky as you could not wait for either target to peak as the other would disappear so one had to be attacked as a rising teal which caught a number of people out!
